The   Central   Linn   Recreation   Center   is   now   accepting   registrations   for boys   and   girls   t-ball,   coach   pitch,   softball,   and   baseball.   Children   ranging from    Pre-K    through    6th    grade    are    eligible    to    participate.    Registration closes   Monday,   March   26th.      Fees   range   from   $30   to   $50   per   sport,   per child.    Scholarships    are    available    to    those    who    qualify.    For    more information,    and    to    register    or    fill    out    a    scholarship    application,    visit .
Fiber Fridays
Spirit   of   the   Valley   UMC      and   the   Central   Linn   Lions   Club   will   host their   annual   Community   Easter   Egg   Hunt   at   the   Halsey   City   Park   on Saturday,   March   31st   at   10:00   a.m.   All   children   up   to   5th   grade   are invited   to   join   in   the   fun,   rain   or   shine,   as   they   gather   up   the   1500   or so eggs hidden around the park! On   Easter   Sunday,   Spirit   of   the   Valley   UMC   will   host   a   gathering   at              Alford   Cemetery   for   a   Sunrise   Service.    Alford   Cemetery   is   about   5 miles   south   of   Halsey   on   Hwy   99E.    The   service   will   begin   at   6:45 a.m.    At   8:30   a.m.,   join   together   for   a   potluck   brunch   at   the   church located   at   611   West   3rd   Street,   followed   by   Easter   Sunday   Worship     at   10:30   a.m.    All   are   welcome   to   take   part   in   any   or   all   of   these events. Join   Central   Valley   Church   at   657 American   Drive   for an   Easter   Celebration   on   Sunday,   April   1st.   Come enjoy   brunch   at   9   am,   followed   by   an   Easter   egg hunt   at   10   am   for   children   pre-school   through   5th grade. Easter service will be held at 10:30 am.
Join   the   Cobra   Booster   Club   for   its   29th   Annual   Auction   &   Dinner   on Saturday,   March   17,   2018   at   the   Central   Linn   High   School.   The   doors open   at   4:30   pm,   with   the   silent   auction   from   4:30   to   6:20,   dinner   at   6:00 pm, and the Live Auction starting at 7:00 pm.  Ticket Prices: Adults (13+) — $15 Seniors, Kids (6-12) & Veterans — $10 Kids under 5 — FREE Dinner includes Reed Anderson’s Lamb, BBQ Pork & Turkey, mixed Green Salad, Baked Beans, Potato Bake and  Cornbread.  If you would like to donate auction items, you can drop them off at the High School.  Please come help support our kids!    Call 541-990-5420 or email Cobraboosterclub for reservations or additional information.

Fridays   at   Ewethful   Fiber   Mill      are   social   day.   Really   all   days   at   the   mill and   shop   are   social   days,   but   this   one   is   a   little   more   organized.   Come   on out   during   shop   hours   with   your   current   project   and   hang   out!   Socialize, meet   new   people,   see   what   others   are   working   and   eat   some   snacks. Feel   free   to   bring   snacks   along   or   they   usually   have   a   little   something   in the   shop.   All   crafts   are   welcome.   Spin,   knit,   crochet,   whatever,   just   come and have fun. All Fridays, 10am-3pm.
